Why do you work out? Why do you go to the gym and spend countless hours inside there? What’s your mindset and what’s your initial intention?
I hope it’s not negative.
If you run or force yourself and spend countless hours at the gym just to obtain your friend’s ” perfect “ body figure or you enter the world of fitness for the sake of your partner, or you’re doing it for fame–everything that you’re doing now is on the contrary of positivity and healthy.
We tend to seek for approval from our environment by pulling or allowing ourselves into the society’s expectations as that’s what happens when we’re out of touch with ourselves.
It’s such an unfortunate to knowledge the fact that I have some people in my life who have the wrong mindset and negative intention.
Let’s say–eventually, your boyfriend or your girlfriend still doesn’t fancy you? And still looking at other people? What if, your body doesn’t have the same body shape like your friend? Perhaps, you’d have bulky thighs and you wonder why she has a thigh gap while you don’t? This will make you feel hopeless and will frustrate you more.
Do you know why I love running?
You sure want to know?
Hundred percent certain?
I want to be healthy.
I don’t want to have a perfect, toned body or anything like that. Initially, when I was fourteen which I first started running, I run because I wanted to see the nature around me.
Also, because it’s part of my daily routine now–it’s my hobby and my passion. I feel free when I run. It may sound cliche, but I guess it’s true; that’s why it’s cliche.
Do me a favour.
Do something because you love it, sounds easy right?
Put yourself first before someone else.
Chase something that will make you genuinely happy. Change your mindset and intention now. Live the healthy life you want to live!
